Steve Tuchscherer, CPA, P.C. is a Roseburg, Oregon Certified Public Accountant firm that has over 25 years experience in tax planning and return preparation, business consulting, accounting services, and financial services for individuals and small businesses. We also perform municipal audits and financial statement reviews for numerous municipalities, non-profits, special districts, and school districts throughout the state. STEVE TUCHSCHERER - has been a Certified Public Accountant for over 20 years. Earning his degree from the University of Oregon in 1990, Steve went on to become a licensed CPA in 1992, and earned his Oregon Municipal Auditor License in 1993. Steve opened his own firm in 1993. Each year since then, he divides his time into business and personal financial consulting, tax planning & preparation, and municipal auditing. Steve is a member of the AICPA, the OSCPA, and served on the Roseburg City Council.

KIM RAY - has been with the firm since 2003. She attended Umpqua Community College and completed her coursework in Business Management. During her time here, Kim has performed accounting and bookkeeping services for our clients, as well as worked in tax preparation and on municipal audits. Kim believes in providing our clients the best quality service they can find anywhere.

CARRIE HAMMER - has been with the firm since 2010. After earning her Masters in Business degree from University of Texas A&M in 2000, Carrie worked for several firms before coming to our firm in 2010. Carrie is the Audit Manager on municipal audits and understands all levels of accounting and taxes. She is committed to providing the highest level of service to our clients.

KERRY PERSING - joined the firm in June of 2010. Kerry has earned degrees from the State University of New York at Farmingdale in 1977, from Marshall University in 1979. and from Duke University in 1980. Kerry is an Oregon Licensed Tax Preparer and is involved in tax preparation and in all municipal audits. Her dedication to providing clients a quality experience is unsurpassed.

BILL ROMO - came to the firm in 2011 as an assistant auditor. He completed his Business Management and Accounting at Ventura College in 1976. He is involved in tax preparation and all of our municipal audits. Bill is the administrator to our Client Portal and is dedicated to providing all clients the quality of service they deserve.

MELINDA SMITH - started with the firm in 2011 as an Administrative Assistant. She attended Everett Community College, Everett,WA., and Umpqua Community College in Roseburg, OR. and received her certificate in Administrative Services. Melinda handles the firms accounts payable and receivables, is involved in tax preparation, and is an assistant auditor on all municipal audits. She constantly strives to provide our clients with the best service available.

BESS BIERSTEKER - began with the firm in 2012 as an Administrative Assistant. Bess graduated from Umpqua Community College, Roseburg, OR. in 2012 with her Certificate in Financial Services. She is an assistant auditor on all municipal audits and works in tax preparation, also. Her dedication to providing clients excellent, friendly, and accurate service is incomparable.

JOHN HUFFMAN - came to the firm as an intern in 2012. John is a mechanical engineering student at Oregon Tech in Klamath Falls. He is trained in tax preparation and municipal auditing. John is our IT specialist, making sure we have the most current software available to ensure you every possible deduction on your taxes and to keep us abreast of the never-ending changes in tax laws.

ASHLYNN PERSING - is an intern with the firm since the summer of 2012. She is currently a student at University of Portland, pursuing a double major in marketing and communications. Ashlynn understands our commitment to our clients to provide them with the best financial experience they have ever seen, and with service and dedication second to none.

JONNA RANE - came to the firm in 2013. She is currently working remotely from Seattle, WA. In 2001, she graduated with a degree in International Business from Seattle University and is a licensed US Customshouse Broker. Her expertise in project management, product positioning, and streamlining processes and procedures is being put to use in our start-up company, Government Resource Management (GRM). Jonna also assists with project-based research for our firm. Her approach to customer service is simple: always look for a way to surpass a customer's expectations!
